Weekend

Hello everyone! We had a wonderful weekend of back to back shows. We played The Mix on Friday and Jacks Patio on Saturday. Both were filled with great energy and friendly faces. Los Rokmantix shared the evening with us on Friday. They play a refreshing blend of rock en espanol and genuinely enjoy themselves every performance. Please give them a listen! Saturday saw the return of Accord of Dissonance. With a new lineup and fresh material, we guarantee them sending you on an odyssey during every set. Dancelikerobots opened the evening also with a new member and didnt skip a beat. We are happy to have both talented bands back to sharing great music with the masses. For those that missed it...no fear. Here are two videos from each night for you all to enjoy. First friday

Hello all July is proving to be the fastest month of year for sun reason. Maybe its the falling sun or the 106 degree weather or the chlorine in our skins but it seems like time is at a race. Right now we are working on new songs and new ways to record them. we are playing in a big hot room that is full of life and ghosts that play with our buttons and push up against our bodies. we are breathing in in out in in out like a waltz of oxygen that pushes through us like we have never really breathed in our lives. The air feels good inside us allows us to play with lungs aligned and hearts on beat. its guitars for now but i love technology so i hope to hear saw waves and square waves soon. these waves will dance with cicadas and drums in swarms. this is what we hope for. on friday we play with muchos backflips in austin at trophy's on saturday we play with bison and when good friends become strangers at the limelight. we cant wait for these shows it has almost been a month since we played last and it always fills us with anxiety to be with out music and people for that long. also i just found out that on july 22 at sunrise in china there will be a total solar eclipse that will be the the longest lasting in a hundred years. it will be sunset here with nothing to see but as always these events are felt more then seen and i know it will mark another period for what we all are creating.

george has another blog entry on the imagine 2050 website. in it he speaks of the human rights issue at hutto prison. this prison and prisons like it need to be destroyed in order for true freedom and justice to be obtained. its only the color ffc0df in the entire spectrum of colors of issues that we face in 2009 but it hits close to our hearts and homes and we can only obtain the white light of everything through every frequency of light humming at equal importance. This includes human rights.
